Spring Men’s League Championship Report
Under manned through most of the first half, Team Ashe lacked the firepower to contend with Team Cary in the Championship. Despite all four of their players scoring in double digits, they simply had no answer for the ball movement of Team Cary. When they did find ways to give them fits, Jed Collins imposed his will and kept the wheel turning for Team Cary. With 55 points all coming from shear physical will, Jed dominated the game from down low. Forcing two of Team Ashe’s players to nearly foul out just trying to contain him. In the end the physicality, and championship game experience was too much for Team Ashe. Team Cary takes home’s second consecutive men’s league title, 103-88.
