Week 2 of Men’s League was full of fireworks. Scoring came easy and often for a number of guys tonight. In the early match up on court 1, Christian Leider and Antonio Chavres threw up 48pts a piece directly in each other’s faces. On court 2 Bryan Gabriel went crazy scoring 66pts. While those feats were outstanding to watch, the game between Team Collins and Team Hay proved to be the most enticing. After being blown out in week 1 Team Collins was out to make a statement. That’s exactly what they did, gutting out a close victory by 2pts against Team Hay. With Team Captain, Jed Collins, back in the lineup Team Collins took everything Team Hay could throw at them, until finally knocking them out in the last seconds of the game. After a rusty start, Team Collins is primed for a successful season.
