Desperately needing a win to avoid a slide into last place, Team Bacon showed up motivated and ready to throw down with Team Leider. Once again lead by the outside shooting of Bryan Gabriel, Team Bacon was able to stretch the floor and force Team Leider to respect them no matter where they were on the court. With the entire team able to score inside, and out, Team Bacon often makes it a habit to play hot potato with the ball until defenses lose their focus. This inevitably leaves at least one of their lethal scorers open to splash home a bucket. The strategy robs opponents of their legs late into games by forcing them to chase the ball, and exhaust themselves defensively. For a team coming in missing 3 of their key players and without subs, this is devastating. To make matters worse Team Leider lost their captain, Christian Leider, with about 10 minutes to go. Their team continued to fight admiralty, but in the end Team Bacon rolled over Team Leider to win 116-108.
