As fall creeps in, the Bellevue Club Men return to action. The guys, all freshly drafted to new teams, commence their journey to become kings of the court. While half of the teams are now 1-0, the other unfortunate half are 0-1. For the winning teams, they can breathe easy knowing they each secured double digit victories in their first outing as teams. For the week 1 losers, they’ll need to quickly regroup, before they fall in an 0-2 hole. Next week’s schedule of matches should give us an earlier indication on who’s for real, and who just got lucky this week. One matchup to keep an eye on will be Team Sterling vs. Team Collins. Two well balanced teams that look to be able to hit each other from inside, and out. Be sure to check out their week 2 battle at 6:00pm Thursday night.
