Heading into the matchup with the league’s second best team, Team Sorensen had lost 3 games straight. Early on, the trend seemed as though it would continue.  Team Dawson was scoring from every angle with complete ease. By half time Team Sorensen was down by as much 22 points. Facing another disappointing loss, Nick Sorensen’s team fought back. Lead by the on court coaching of Derek Heed, they clamped down on defense, and made Team Dawson feel them on every shot. The elevated aggressiveness worked. At the 6 minute mark, Team Sorensen had erased the gap and tied up the game.  A few moments later, Brennen Carroll nailed a 3 pointer, that would give them the lead for the rest of the game. Energized by each other’s play, Team Sorensen snatched the game away from Team Dawson in a final of 109-99.
