Spring Men’s League Week 4 Report
Lead by a staggering 56 points out of seemingly nowhere, Brian Biege helped his team live up to their namesake to “Locke” down a win over Team Sorensen 125-120. From start to finish this was easily the most exciting game of the night, as each team traded the lead on almost every possession. Bucket, by bucket, these teams made each other earn every point on the board. Through stifling defense, and tenacious effort, Team Locke and Team Sorensen harassed one another up and down the court for 40 minutes. In the end, Team Locke took the win, but at no time in the game, was that a for gone conclusion. Nick Sorensen, and Brennen Carroll made absolutely certain of that. Combining for 78 of their team’s 120 points, the pair willed their team to within a near victory. If not for a barrage long range shots from Biege, Team Sorensen would have bullied their way to a decisive victory. If these two teams meet come playoff time, Team Locke ought to be on high alert, as Team Sorensen will surely be coming back for revenge.
