After a long tumultuous season, the championship game is set. Teams Porcello, and Sviridyuk will square off in the final game of 2017. The top two seeds coming into the playoffs, each has proven themselves against the onslaught of their opponents. This final match up has the markings of a revenge game for Team Porcello, as they have lost to Team Sviridyuk twice this season. Between the two squads, 4 of the league’s top 5 scorers will be going head to head. Focused on stopping each other’s lethal shooters, it will likely be up to one of the role players who will be the x-factor. I would keep my eye on the play of Darren Trautmann from Team Porcello, and Tanner Lien from Team Sviridyuk. One of them could likely be the difference in deciding which team tastes sweet victory Thursday night.
